Terms and Conditions / Refund and Exchange Policy
For All Items
Most of the time, customers are VERY happy
with their orders and we are proud to provide them with a good quality
product. However, there is a strict NO RETURNS policy on all items.
All engraved items are considered custom pieces of art. As with any piece of
art, every one is different and sometimes the picture might not be centered
perfectly, or you might see a small imperfection. For example, brass tends to
scratch very easily and sometimes there might be a small scratch somewhere on
the lighter or pendant. Sometimes pictures will not come out as clear on
Acrylic. In general, when engraving pictures on metal, the
final product will come out fairly lighter than the original picture. Also, colors that are close in nature might come out as the same shade in less than good quality pictures.
However, when using a good quality graphic or picture,
the detail is outstanding. If you give us a poor quality picture then that's what you're going to get: A poor quality
engraved picture. If you give us a nice digital photo then you'll get a nice result . For these obvious reasons
we can not give store credit
or refunds of any kind for engraved or personalized items. The only time we
will give a refund is if we used the wrong picture or if we sent you the wrong
item or if we
spelled something wrong that was not in your proof picture. Once you order your item from our website,
that finalizes the sale. You can not ask for store credit or a refund
simply because you "don't like the picture" or "the picture is too small or big" or "you've changed your mind"
We will be more than happy to work with you on your next order but you can not
return engraved items for these reasons.
Sometimes your picture will not come out
EXACTLY like the one you sent us. Usually, this is due to poor picture
quality, lack of focusing, or poor lighting in the picture. Sometimes you
might lose some detail because of this. Sometimes we have to brighten up the
picture so that you can see as much as possible. We can only do so much
to make your picture look the best it can in an engraved form. If you lose
some detail in your picture, YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A REFUND! NO
EXCEPTIONS!
All orders will take 3-15 business days
to process and ship. It also means that stock-outs, backorders, and
discontinued items may occur. In backorder cases, your order may take up to
30 days to fill. In these special cases, we will let you know and keep you
informed on when your order will be shipped. By purchasing, you
understand that we reserve the right to refund your money and cancel the sale
ONLY if we cannot fill your order in 30 days. With this in mind, we will
always do our best to fill your order as quickly as we can. This doesn't mean
that we can't fill orders in a day or two. Please
let us know
what you need and we'll tell you if we can fill your order in a lesser amount
of time.
Once you approve the proof picture by
sending us an e-mail saying so in your own words, we will engrave your
item and send it to you. You may not ask to change your item after your proof
picture has been approved.
We will not engrave copyrighted images! Please do not order from our site and then send us a copyrited image that we are not allowed to engrave. If you do this, you do not qualify for a refund. You only qualify for store credit or you must pick another image.
For each item (or side), you get up to
two proof pictures (not including the free proof picture you get without
having to order). This means you order from the site and send us a picture or
pictures, and we send you a proof. If you don't like what you see then
that's ok. Let us know and we'll send you another proof making your
corrections. By this time you should have an item that is just what you want.
If you are still unsatisfied, then that's ok. However, we will charge you
$3.00 for each proof picture after the first two (per item).
If you want us to combine pictures or make
your pictures look nicer, that's fine, but there will be a $20.00 artwork
charge to do that and it is your responsibility to let us know if you would
like this service.
Privacy Statement
Personal Information
Savannah Engraving will request information from the user on our order form. Here, a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address). Financial information (like credit card number, expiration date) is collected only by the credit card processor's website. This information is used solely by
Savannah Engraving for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used only by
Savannah Engraving to get in touch with the user.Your address, phone number, and email address are never given out to third parties for advertising purposes.

Savannah Engraving is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.
Security
Savannah Engraving takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our ordering process asks users to enter sensitive information (such as users address or credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry when transferred to the credit card processing website. While on a secure page, such as the financial information page, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked. This will let you know that you are on a secure page.
